I starting dancing at the age of 3 and never have stopped. By the age of 11

I started to experience movement with a growing bust.

2nd

The bust had to be contained. In the 90's you either wore a normal bra if you couldn't have a racer back or you wore a large racer back sports bra.

I always envied the more petite dancers with their exposed backs

and no worries in the front.

5th

I designed my own bra. With the help of brain- storm sessions with fellow dancer Rebecca Levy and seamstress Sue Boyce. I wore the protoype for 7 years (every performance at least 24 a year)

It is still standing.

Now a new and improved version is available for you!

 ABOUT

4th

I became a professional dancer, teacher, and costume designer. The market started to offer products with potential to fulfill the need of having an undergarment that would allow more open backs.  Unfortuantly the products don't really support more than a B cup and don't withstand time.

3rd

I started to wear 2 sports bras... During performance I would have to at times let them loose (very painful) or duct tape them (great until the duct tape had to come off).

Los Angeles bases dance professional Caterina Mercante designed the ONE after years of dissatisfaction with available dance bras. She carefully developed the ONE to give active women with the bust the comfort they deserve.

Handmade in Los Angeles, the ONE lets the dance be the thing.
